Netflix’s smash-hit sci-fi series created by the Duffer Brothers continues to blend supernatural horror, 1980s nostalgia, and character-driven drama as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown, Enola Holmes, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) and her friends face their biggest threat yet. In Episode 7, “The Bite,” chaos erupts during the Starcourt Mall's 4th of July festivities as the Mind Flayer’s monstrous form attacks, leading to an intense mall battle, Billy’s (Dacre Montgomery, Power Rangers, Elvis) continued descent into darkness, and Eleven’s gruesome leg injury. Meanwhile, Hopper (David Harbour, Black Widow, Hellboy), Joyce (Winona Ryder, Beetlejuice, Heathers), and Murray (Brett Gelman, Fleabag, The Other Guys) infiltrate the Russian base beneath the mall. In Episode 8, “The Battle of Starcourt,” emotions run high as the group stages an epic final stand against the Mind Flayer. Hopper and Joyce attempt to shut down the gate to the Upside Down, leading to a tragic and emotional climax, while Billy makes a heroic sacrifice to save Eleven. The season ends with a tearful farewell and a post-credits twist in Russia that leaves fans with massive questions.
