Roxy Striar, Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon react to Episode 3 (“Now You See It”) of IT: Welcome to Derry, the chilling next chapter of the HBO prequel series directed by Andy Muschietti and developed by Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. Set in 1962 in the eerie town of Derry, Maine, this episode plunges deeper into the roots of horror and the rising terror that would become the cycle of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. The cast includes Bill Skarsgård (Barbarian, Hemlock Grove) reprising Pennywise, Taylour Paige (The Toxic Avenger, Pussy Island) as Charlotte Hanlon, Jovan Adepo (Babylon, Creed II) as Leroy Hanlon, Chris Chalk (Perry Mason, Gotham) as Dick Hallorann, and Stephen Rider (Top Gun: Maverick) as Hank Grogan. Episode 3 is expected to reveal more about the terrifying engine of fear in Derry — with the trailer hinting at shocking connections such as a prison reference to Shawshank and a deeper dive into “Operation Precept.” With unsettling visuals, rising dread, and the town’s façade beginning to crack, this installment raises the stakes significantly for Derry’s next generation of victims and survivors — and sets the stage for the looming return of Pennywise in full force.
