Iconic and highly searched moments include the Slimer hotel encounter, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man rampage, Dana’s possession scene, and the climactic rooftop battle with Gozer. With its instantly recognizable theme song by Ray Parker Jr., sharp writing, and perfect blend of scares and laughs, Ghostbusters became a cultural phenomenon and remains one of the most beloved films of the 1980s.
