S1 Ep 40Ep. 40 Covid Watch #2

Due to the ever changing times we decided that if we were going to continue the show it had to be done with Covid in mind. While we apologize for not being able to give you the style of show we love to make we have figured out we can still argue dumb sh%$ about movies with out being in the living room. The live debate has been put on the shelf for the moment mostly because its impossible to edit and WAY more fun in the same room. That said , welcome to Covid Watch. We've gone to a one on one format, think more UFC and less Royal Rumble with not only cast members but friends, family, podcasters and some special guests as well. You'll be hearing arguments like always, interviews and we'll be trying out some new ideas because we all have the time. Lastly we've made our peace with the idea that TV should be allowed on the show. The big screen shall play with the little screen...for now. On the phone this week are cast members Jimmy Skinner, Chris Stanton and Mark Cowell. We talk horror movie cliches, marvels new direction with the hold on production, who else was up for Tim Burtons Batman, what we're all watching, the one world together concert , should Sesame Street be teaching kids about covid and lots more. S1 Ep 38Ep.38 Movies in the time of Covid

The whole point of watching a movie is to be taken away from the mundane and the normal. With the way things are going right now in the world, a good movie is needed now more than ever to give your mind a break from all things Covid-19. The debaters get into their favourite comfort movie, what they're disappointed about thats being postponed, what they're enjoying at the moment while on covid watch, what the movie industry could do to stay a float right now with our "professional" opinions and as always a few things we never plan on talking about. In the living room this week is Jimmy Skinner, Dan Goldberg and Micheal Petrow and ON THE PHONE is Mark Cowell as he self isolates after getting home from Cuba. Nothing stops that man from talking! S1 Ep 37#37 "2 men enter, 1 man leaves" Best Deathmatch Debate

How many of us have watched a movie and said “ I could totally survive________ if that happened to me” This week The Reel Debaters ask themselves that very question while pulling a debate from a not well known genre called “ Humans hunting Humans”Inspired by The Running man, Death race and Surviving the Game the cast argue their weight in salt and see if they could survive a movie that has anything to do with a tournament/challenge/cultural event that ends in a winter take all/deathmatch scenario.Debate: Each cast member picks a movie that has one of the previously mentioned events in it. They must argue why they feel that their present day version of themselves would survive, how they would do so and what skills they think would help them in their quest.Rules: Only access to what’s in the movie for defence and offence and you have no time to train. It's off the couch and into the ring.In the living room this week is new cast member Dan Goldberg ( 3 episodes in a row!)
