The one thing MMT'er's fail to realize about untethered debt and deficits is that someone has to pay for it--and when that someone is the Federal Government, there just isn't enough money to go around, regardless of how high taxes may go...and that's why the much-balyhooed 2% GDP growth rate is woefully insufficient.
