4-2-25 Downside Risks to Markets Remain

Markets have had two days in a row of starting off weaker and ending positive. Markets have formed support at the recent bottom (too soon to tell if a double-bottom is forming), and the buy signal remains intact, and relative strength has turned up. Despite the markets' struggling, money flows have returned into the markets. One caveat: Much of the recent buying was due to end of quarter re-balancing. There remains downside risk from this point, and much depends upon how markets react to today's tariff announcement by the White House.
