While not a totally accurate descriptor to call it communism - it touches enough of the 'greatest hits' to get the point across.
Authoritarian control is a disease that has really spread its wings to fly over the past several years, evolving from a trickle to a flood of power grabs.
They say that this ever increasing need for power is in the name of safety, and it is. Their safety, not yours - because if they can't censor, silence, control and manipulate information, public sentiment then the lies don't work - and if the lies stop working, the circus is over.
