Jorge Lorenzo was a man reborn at the start of this year, free of the demons that plagued the end of his full-time MotoGP career, back in the Yamaha fold and looking forward to making a wildcard appearance at Barcelona. While those plans are now on hold, Toby Moody and Simon Patterson discuss Lorenzo's journey to retirement at the end of last year, via his heroics with Yamaha, the combustible relationship with Ducati that fell apart just before things came good on track, and why things didn't work at Honda in 2019. They also take an in-depth look at where his head is at in 2020, after Simon got to sit down for one of the most open interviews he's ever done with a big-name MotoGP rider during pre-season.
