Show Notes
This week’s pod looks back on an exciting weekend at Indianapolis which saw Alexander Rossi finally ended his win draught and mixed fortunes for this year’s title contenders.
Hosts Jack Benyon and JR Hildebrand discuss how Rossi and his Andretti Autosport team were finally able to pull together a whole weekend without bad luck or mistakes to deliver a popular win.
They also outline why the victory leaves a nagging sense of what might have been for Rossi, based on the potential he's shown over the past two years but not always been able to deliver.
The duo also discuss the fortunes of Will Power and Marcus Ericsson, with the championship rivals both going from back to front in what was an unusual weekend in the context of the title battle. There's also chat on the impressive performances of several rookies, including 2022's first rookie podium finisher Christian Lundgaard.
And finally, recorded before Alpine and Oscar Piastri stole their thunder, JR and Jack give the latest on the Alex Palou/Ganassi/McLaren situation.
