Show Notes
The Road America IndyCar race offered lots of overtaking, multiple crashes (including one between the points leader and his team-mate), and a $1 million winner in Josef Newgarden.
Hosts Jack Benyon and JR Hildebrand are here to look back on all the action in the latest episode of The Race IndyCar Podcast, as Newgarden earned a huge prize for taking victories on a road course, street circuit and oval in just eight races this season.
The duo ask whether the American is now the title favourite, and analyse the Penske driver's inconsistent but simultaneously brilliant season so far.
The big clashes between Alex Palou and Marcus Ericsson and Will Power and Devlin DeFrancesco also go under the microscope, before Jack and JR share their thoughts on the latest silly season rumours. Jack also shares his impressions of Road America after his first trip to the Wisconsin circuit - but does it earn the status of best track he's ever been to? Tune in to find out...
