Across the 3 Abrahamic traditions, Buddhism, and Hinduism, justice-based giving is more than charity:
It is a form of righteousness, ensuring moral balance and social responsibility.
Whether as legal obligation (Judaism, Islam), living Jesus (Christianity)or spiritual imperative (Buddhism, Hinduism), giving reflects a just and compassionate worldview.
These teachings promote dignity, redistribution, and care for the vulnerable—not from pity, but from duty and divine accountability.
Providing for the “least among us” is response to God.
