Last week, Australia successfully lobbied enough countries to prevent UNESCO from labelling the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef as 'in danger'.
But pushback from environmental campaigners and several other nations who were furious about the move, and desperately want to see the iconic landmark better protected, has kept the spotlight on our Government.
