Donald Trump has been directed by a NY judge to pay $354.9 million in fines imposed due to the fraudulent manner in which he has conducted his business, over-inflating the value of properties to score better deals on loans and insurance and to pay less taxes.
That money is what he essentially owes to those institutions he has defrauded, but will he stump up the cash or continue the fight? The question is, can he afford to?
And what of the race back to the White House? Does another civil finding against Trump make him less shiny to his supporters, or more relatable as he's seen to be fighting a corrupt system out to get him?
