Show Notes

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese recently stood on the floor in federal parliament and apologised to the victims and families of a shocking 1950's and 60's pharmaceutical nightmare.

For women who were struggling with morning sickness back then, a drug was being marketed to them as the cure for their nausea. Thalidomide would help ease a rolling tummy but what those mothers didn't know and what the people who manufactured the drug failed to explore, was the impact this drug would have on their unborn children.

Today The Quicky team looks into the impacts of thalidomide, and the children who still live with it's devastating consequences today.
