For weeks now we've seen just how devastating the impacts of a large earthquake can be. 

While Turkey and Syria were desperately trying to free people from the rubble, our neighbours in New Zealand were also hit by a large tremor. 

But why don't we see that kid of devastating earthquake happen here in Australia? 

On today's episode we speak to an expert to find out if we're at risk of a big tremor or whether our geography is protecting us from a major shake.
