The DC news continues with the Vertigo label about to release Mark Russell's first issue of Second Coming where Jesus Christ returns to earth and rooms with another super-hero called the Sun King. Episode 6 | A Profile on The Grim Knight
It is the last show for 2018 and Hector and Chris try something new this week. Despite Hector abstaining from purchasing any new Batman comics this last week, the pair find things to talk about in the Fantastic 4 Wedding Special, the Hellboy Winter Special and the Cthul-Lousie one-off from the Black Hammer series. After the normal bi-weekly review a deep, spoiler filled discussion of The Batman Who Laughs #1: The Grim Knight and what happens when a character goes too far.

Chris and Hector are back after a week hiatus to talk about a three week back log of comics and TV shows. Will the Walking Deadend after issue #200? Will Hector recover from the cancellation of Daredevil from Netflix? And who knew that an hour of Hawk and Dove would make for captivating TV? The discussion then turns to the DC streaming service, how the retailers are glaring at the exclusive content, and how customers will get their content however they can that is affordable.

The passing of Stan Lee weighs heavy on the minds of fans of comics everywhere. The contributions of Stan "The Man" Lee are recounted by Chris and Hector this week while they wonder who could possibly fill the public persona the Stan leaves behind. Jim Lee, Jeff Loeb, and others are bandied about in addition to the duo talk about their comic pull list for the week including a triumphant return of the Firefly comics.

Episode 3 | Immature Marvel, Giant Walmart Comics, and Top 3 Starter Graphic Novels
Chris and Hector talk about their pulls for the last two weeks, including an outpouring of love and admiration for Tom King juxtaposed to the arrested development of the Marvel comic universe. Doom Patrol 12and the D&D influence is also discussed along with a surprising recommendation on Batman Beyond 25. The second half of the show is all about the Halloween Comic Fest celebrated by comic stores all across the country. Some stores celebrate with giant events, and others may not even register as a blip on the radar. Walmart has also gotten into the comic scene with DC by selling giant 100 page editions in hopes that it will drive traffic into the local comic shops. Finally Chris and Hector recommend their Top 3 graphic novels for those who are looking to get into the hobby but are not entirely sure where to start.
