After a week off, Chris and Hector are catching up on comics released in the last three weeks along with all the news. Tom King's Walmart run is done rather abruptly, Daredevil show runner Drew Goddard inks a deal with Disney, and Hector becomes unhinges as Twilight invades Batman cinema. The duo share their pulls for the last few weeks including some of the community pulls.

Hector and Chris host a spoiler filled discussion about Avengers: Endgame centering around the comics vs. MCU Thanos representation and how Hector has a great deal of beef over the first 2 hours of the movie.

Tamara Robertson of Mythbusters and the forthcoming comic book series Seekers of Science is our guest this week. Tamara talks to us about her experience of being a woman of faith in a profession that is perceived to be opposite to the workings of God. She also shares about her passion for recruiting other women into the STEM world and elevating the perception of women in the associated industries.

Batman turns 80 this week with Chris and Hector reviewing the massive tome that is Detective Comics #1000. DC Comics continues to be a heavy focus this week as the Joker one-off film drops its first teaser echoing the feelings and setting of Batman #48 and #49. Angelina Jolie is also in talks to return to the action hero scene with Marvel's "The Eternals". All that and more on this week's episode.

Hector has once again beaten Chris to the theatre with a sneak peak, spoiler-free review of Shazam!...or is it Captain Marvel? The duo also talk about the James Gunn helmed reboot of Suicide Squad with Idris Elba replacing Will Smith along with rampant and unfounded speculation on what the merger of Disney and Fox mean for the MCU beyond Phase 3.

Hector once again puts Chris to shame by seeing Captain Marvel before Chris does and has a bold proclamation to make concerning its standing in the MCU rankings. In a spoiler-free discussion the duo talk about impressions, easter eggs, and why Hector's daughters were obsessed with the first Marvel woman led movie in the MCU.

Kevin Eastman of TMNT fame joins Chris and Hector to help celebrate the show reaching the double digits! Talking about comics, life, and belief Kevin talks about his Christian upbringing and how not all stories require gratuitous violence to tell a great story.

WalMart's exclusive Giant comic run with DC dropped SuperMan Giant #7 which features 12 pages of Lois being brutally murdered in SuperMan's head as he worries about her from afar. It is the last show for 2018 and Hector and Chris try something new this week. Despite Hector abstaining from purchasing any new Batman comics this last week, the pair find things to talk about in the Fantastic 4 Wedding Special, the Hellboy Winter Special and the Cthul-Lousie one-off from the Black Hammer series. After the normal bi-weekly review a deep, spoiler filled discussion of The Batman Who Laughs #1: The Grim Knight and what happens when a character goes too far.

Chris and Hector are back after a week hiatus to talk about a three week back log of comics and TV shows. Will the Walking Deadend after issue #200? Will Hector recover from the cancellation of Daredevil from Netflix? And who knew that an hour of Hawk and Dove would make for captivating TV? The discussion then turns to the DC streaming service, how the retailers are glaring at the exclusive content, and how customers will get their content however they can that is affordable.

The passing of Stan Lee weighs heavy on the minds of fans of comics everywhere. The contributions of Stan "The Man" Lee are recounted by Chris and Hector this week while they wonder who could possibly fill the public persona the Stan leaves behind. Jim Lee, Jeff Loeb, and others are bandied about in addition to the duo talk about their comic pull list for the week including a triumphant return of the Firefly comics.

Chris and Hector talk about their pulls for the last two weeks, including an outpouring of love and admiration for Tom King juxtaposed to the arrested development of the Marvel comic universe. Doom Patrol 12and the D&D influence is also discussed along with a surprising recommendation on Batman Beyond 25. The second half of the show is all about the Halloween Comic Fest celebrated by comic stores all across the country. Some stores celebrate with giant events, and others may not even register as a blip on the radar. Walmart has also gotten into the comic scene with DC by selling giant 100 page editions in hopes that it will drive traffic into the local comic shops. Finally Chris and Hector recommend their Top 3 graphic novels for those who are looking to get into the hobby but are not entirely sure where to start.

The DC Universe is in crisis (again) as the Heroes in Crisis 9 part series racks up a body count right from the onset. Light spoilers are contained within if you haven't read the first 2 issues.
