Description
Returning guest Kjerste Christense joins Joe to talk about what becomes popular in terms of books, television, and movies. Inspired in part by Matthew Claxton’s newsletter issue “Unsettling Futures – Brandon Sanderson, fane, and the failure of the long tail” and in part by the book Hit Makers: How to Succeed in an Age of Distraction, our conversation addresses what leads to the popularity of certain texts, and also how we can find quality texts that haven’t had that breakthrough yet.
