This classic film directed by Akira Kurosawa tells the story of a man who searches for meaning in his life when he learns he is dying from cancer. Henry and Joe discuss Kurosawa’s brilliant directing, Takashi Shimura’s great performance as Kanji, and the truths about human nature explored in the film.
