Young Dro is a rapper from the Westside of Atlanta, Center Hill to be exact. He has been performing since the age of 8 and sang in the choir with his grandma as a young boy. Young Dro has over 18 brothers and sisters and grew up with his mother as his father was on drugs. During a sit down conversation with Lalaa Shepard of The Progress Report, Young Dro opens up about his past. During the sit down, Dro talks becoming Young Dro, he and his mother being shot, spending millions on fashion during his career, crunk and snap music era, appearing on XXL’s first ever Freshman Class List in 2007, relationships with T.I., Rocko, Gucci Mane, Yung LA, Shawty Lo, Pimp C, Boosie, and Spodee, his community foundation, upcoming book, glasses, and acting gigs.
