New Orleans rapper Gudda Gudda opens up in his first interview in years with Lalaa Shepard in a new edition of Conversations with Lalaa presented by The Progress Report. During the virtual interview, Gudda Gudda speaks on his hiatus from music, new project ‘7 Slugs’, and credits Lil Wayne, Hot Boyz, Juvenile, Soulja Slim, Dipset, The Lox, The Game, and Snoop as some of his musical influences. Gudda Gudda also speaks on his first time meeting Lil Wayne, forming Sqad Up, Cash Money, Young Money early days, and hints that B.G. might actually be free. Gudda Gudda also recalls supporting Lil Wayne through his public feud with Birdman and surviving Hurricane Katrina and COVID.
