Do you know the difference between the Metaverse and Virtual Reality? Most people don't, because they're often used interchangeably. But there is a big distinction between the two. In this video I explain what the Metaverse is, and why it's so important. Metaverse is a decentralized virtual world that uses blockchain technology to create a trustless environment where people can interact with each other without the need for intermediaries. This means that there is no central authority that can control or censor the Metaverse, and all transactions are transparent and immutable. This makes the Metaverse a very attractive platform for developing dapps, and it's already home to a number of popular dapps such as CryptoKitties and Decentraland. The Metaverse is also working on a number of exciting features, such as a decentralized exchange, identity management, and smart contracts.
