Show Notes
In this podcast episode, Colten and Carlos discuss the book "Ego is the Enemy" and its relevance during the conference season. Colten shares that he reads the book every year during this time as he feels that getting recognition and being on stage can lead to ego problems that can affect the rest of the year. Carlos agrees that ego can be an enemy and mentions that he has seen people who feel a position of power, start to think they know everything, and become arrogant. They both agree that staying humble is important and that having humility helps one look for ways to improve. Colten mentions that the fear of failure is what keeps him from letting his ego get in the way.
