S1 Ep 160160: What Happens AFTER She Chooses Life? | ft. Marisol Rodriguez
While helping a mother choose life for her pre-born child is the most important step for many pro-life advocates, few if any are naive enough to think it is the only step. Once a mother has said, "yes!" to life, what happens next? With countless parents facing generation poverty, the road after the initial "yes" is often plagued with barriers and road blocks, many of which might push parents back towards abortion, whether during that pregnancy or during future one.To explore the reality of generational poverty, as well as to start answering the question of how the pro-life movement can respond beyond a mother's "yes", Cam is joined by Marisol Rodriguez, co-founder of RENEW Life Center and author of "Beyond Her Yes: Reimagining Pro-Life Ministry to Empower Women and Support Families in Overcoming Poverty".To purchase a copy of "Beyond Her Yes" go to: http://bakerpublishinggroup.com/books/beyond-her-yes/417240For more information about RENEW Life Center, go to: https://renewlifecenternj.org/For more PLG Podcast content go to: www.prolifeguys.comSubscribe to our YouTube Channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcast

As such, we must take a long and critical look at whether or not this is an appropriate practice to satisfy this deep longing (spoiler alert: it isn't).To view Laura's video on IVF, go to: https://www.choice42.com/videosTo learn more about Choice42, go to: https://www.choice42.com/To check out the episode Cam recorded with Stephanie Gray Connors focused on how to talk about IVF, go to: https://prolifeguys.com/134-unpacking-in-vitro-fertilizations-ft-stephanie-gray-connor/Subscribe to the PLG newsletter to be entered into the draw for a copy of Stephanie's Book on our website at: https://prolifeguys.com/subscribe/Subscribe to the PLG YouTube Channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcast

S1 Ep 155155: Biking for Babies | ft. Nikki Biese
Biking for Babies is a national nonprofit that proclaims the dignity of every human life by uniting cycling with the formation of young adults into missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. They facilitate an encounter between our young adult missionaries and the Gospel of Life which equips them with the knowledge of their foundational identity as God’s beloved. As they experience the joy of this Gospel, their missionaries are called to a radical gift of self in support of pregnant mothers in unplanned, difficult and at-risk pregnancies. Their missionaries are renewing the culture of life by first undergoing conversion of heart and then bringing the love of Christ to the world. These rider and support crew missionaries share life-saving stories from pregnancy resource centers in order to raise awareness of and financial support for these centers. The adventure of Biking for Babies culminates in a six-day National Ride (July 7-14, 2024) that spans over 5,000 miles across the nation with starting points in New York, Alabama, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kansas, Minnesota, and Michigan. In their 14 years, Biking for Babies has formed over 216 young people and raised over $1.6 million for 127 pregnancy centers and maternity homes across the United States! Boycotting is a tool that special interest groups have leveraged for generation to apply pressure on companies, industries, or individuals in an effort to modify the behaviour of their target. S1 Ep 149149: How to Consistently Change Minds on Abortion
Do you ever feel lost in your conversations about abortion? Do you feel at times as though you are using different arguments almost at random in hopes that they might resonate with the person you are speaking with?In today's episode, host Cam talks through a roadmap which can help you understand where you are at when you are speaking with someone about abortion, and where you should be moving next in your conversation, so that you have both a natural flow, but also so that your arguments flow logically, building on each other so that you can change minds and save lives from abortion.Remember to like and subscribe to the PLG podcast on your favorite podcatcher, and help us reach 1,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel by subscribing at https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcast

S1 Ep 146146: Pro-Life Reaction to Defeat of Bill C-311 | ft. Scott Hayward
Canadian pro-lifers have unfortunately become accustomed to even the most basic pro-life bills being voted down in Parliament, including bills which would simply evaluate the scientific evidence for when human life begins, or bills which would restrict abortion when the only reason is that the baby is a girl.In today's episode, Cam is joined again by Scott Hayward, President of Right Now, to discuss MP Cathay Wagantall's recent bill C-311, entitled, "Violence Against Pregnant Women Act", and what pro-lifers need to take away from the debate and progress which was made. For more PLG podcast content, go to: www.prolifeguys.comFor more about CCBR, go to: www.endthekilling.caFor more about Bill C-311, go to: https://www.cathaywagantall.ca/pregnantwomenFor more about Right Now, go to: www.itstartsrightnow.ca
S1 Ep 143143: Pro-Life Rant - What are we actually trying to accomplish?!?!
Pro-lifers are often challenged on what they're trying to achieve, particularly when showing abortion victim photography as a part our their outreach. Are we trying to make people feel mad? Are we trying to make people feel guilty? In many ways, we're just trying to help people feel anything at all. In today's episode, Cam talks about a few recent experiences he's had and how he thinks through the question of what pro-life outreach is accomplishing and aiming at. S1 Ep 145145: Pro-Lifers Should Fix Problems, Not Ban Abortion
Pro-life activists are often confronted on street corners and door-steps with questions about why we don't start by fixing social problems such as foster care, teen pregnancies, and legal challenges parents are faced with, rather than focusing on preventing abortions. While this approach makes sense at the surface level, in today's episode, Cam talks through a number of reasons why this is not only unrealistic, but also inherently flawed thinking. YES, pro-lifers absolutely need to put their money where their mouths are, leading the charge in resolving the challenging circumstances so many parents around the world are faced with. Yet just like in every other social crisis, it will necessarily require a massive overhaul in public opinion for the solutions to ever match the need. Enter proactive social engagement through the educational arm of the pro-life movement. Education is vital, not only in awakening and mobilizing pro-lifers to contribute towards the solutions necessary to address the wide array of problems parents are faced with, but even more importantly to demonstrate to those who suggest abortion, the direct and intentional killing of an innocent girl or boy, that we must begin investing our time, treasure, and talent in solutions which avoid the intentional destruction of human life. Finally, and most importantly, we must reach mothers and fathers contemplating abortion with the truth that abortion kills an innocent human, and that we are far from having perfect solutions in place, we must approach these crisis' in the same way that we approach crisis' involving born children, with the best we can possibly offer; not by killing the child involved. CCBR is excited to announce our "Faces of Abortion" tour this summer coming to a community near you!Over the last ten years, CCBR has grown from a single office in Calgary to multiple office across Canada with periodic excursions into other communities, and this summer we are excited to take the next step in mobilizing pro-life activists across the nation in pro-life outreach which specifically focuses on the faces of abortion victims. These new images will confront Canadians in a way which makes abortion far more real, presenting the victims as the personal someones they are, such that hearts and minds will change, pro-lifers will be mobilized, and the victims will witness to the injustice which ended their lives. For more information about CCBR's Faces of Abortion tour go to: www.endthekilling.ca/tourIf you'd like a CCBR team to come to your community, reach out to us at: [email protected] more PLG podcast content go to: www.prolifeguys.comSubscribe to the PLG Podcast YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcast

S1 Ep 140141: What if they're okay killing born humans?!?!?! | ft. Blaise Alleyne
Conversations about abortion often include analogies in which pro-life advocates "trot out the toddler", challenging the principle that we can alleviate one person's pain or suffering by killing another human being by asking if we would respond similarly if the situation involved a born human, rather than a pre-born human. But what happens when they believe you could kill a born child too?!?!?In today's episode Cam is joined by Blaise Alleyne, co-author of "A Guide to Discussing Assisted Suicide", to discuss how to navigate conversations where trotting out the toddler doesn't go the way you anticipate. For more PLG podcast content go to: www.prolifeguys.comSubscribe to the PLG YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcast

S1 Ep 140140: Pro-Life Student Denied Justice at TMU | ft. Talia Battista

S1 Ep 138138: Social Reform vs. Marketing | ft. Jonathon Van Maren
While traditional marketing often asks, "How do we attract people to ourselves/our products?", social reform asks a very different question, namely, "How do we repel people from injustice?".In today's episode, Cam is joined (IN HOUSE!!) by Jonathon Van Maren, author and international speaker, to discuss why it is vital for social reformers, including and especially pro-lifers, to stay true to our mission of defiance and social reform rather than opting for a more acceptable approach of marketing. For more PLG podcast content go to: www.prolifeguys.comIf you haven't already subscribed to the PLG podcast YouTube Channel please do at: https://www.youtube.com/@TheProLifeGuysPodcastFor more from Jonathon, go to: www.thebridgehead.ca
