On May 1, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held its third hearing on how to craft a potential federal privacy bill. Witnesses included repesentatives from the American Civil Liberties Union, the Future of Privacy Forum, Common Sense Media and the Irish Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
