One of the questions I get the most from folks, is around what to buy for their first firearm, what's a good belt, can I recommend a plate carrier. I get asked almost these same questions every time a friend approaches me about wanting to get into preparedness. As such, this is something I've been collecting several thoughts around, and wanting to do a episode on for a while. I get into the thought process that should go into your very first firearm purchase, all the way down to what you shouldn't buy and don't need, and why. With so many new shooters entering the space in the last few years, this topic is more important than ever.
