Bill Blowers is the owner and founder of Tap Rack Tactical, and also a industry leading expert on ballistic shields, and shield training. As former Army and Law Enforcement, Bill draws on a lot of experience with his teaching and has helped to define and grow many of the common practices and techniques used by SWAT teams around the country. In our discussion we talk about the evolution of technology and training from the mid nineties to today, we get into shield application, armor standards, and a lot more. Definitely a interesting discussion for anyone in law enforcement that finds themselves working with, or around shields and ballistic cover.
