In this episode, Mike chat's with Dr. Catherine Logan, MD, MBA, MSPT is a sports medicine Orthopedic Surgeon and writer, as well as a former physical therapist and personal trainer who also happens to hold a masters of business association. Through our conversation, we learned about her career path, how her past experiences as a physical therapist have influenced her practice as an orthopedic surgeon today and her thoughts on the future of medicine and healthcare in the United States. She drops a lot of great advice for any aspiring young professionals or students on how to arm yourself with the knowledge to choose a career path.
Based in Denver, CO, Dr. Logan is an attending at Rose Medical Center, where her clinic uniquely offers The Fit Lab, a dedicated exercise testing space using motion capture and force mats to better follow her patient's rehab progress. Dr. Logan is also the Head League Physician for Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), caring for our nation's most talented men's lacrosse professionals on the sidelines and off the field. She also travels internationally and nationally as a member of the team physician pool for the US Ski & Snowboard teams each year.
