When you find yourself in a space of reaction, you are engaging not from a place of communication but from a space of battle and being right. You fear someone getting over on you or feeling superior but the reality is you engaging is them already "winning"
A person can't argue with an empty space. Walking away to process what you want to say is where the real peace in power is. This allows you to articulate your prospetive when you are not operating from emotion. Let's chat about it.
