Reframing A Woman’s Right To Choose As A Human Right

Language is everything, and how you frame a discussion or issue is critical to how it is conveyed, received and thought about. Since women’s rights are obviously human rights, why not frame the right to choose as a human right also? Surely this has already been done. If it has, continuously emphasizing abortion rights as human rights and health care and family issues, and not solely as a woman’s issue is critical. If it hasn’t, abortion rights groups should start that reframing right now.
