On today's show, Todd has some news to share with the guys about his new cop podcast that he has been putting a lot of time into, and some of his plans for his standup comedy over the coming weeks. An Aussie legend, Paul De Gelder. Paul is a retired clearance diver for the Royal Australian Navy who survived a violent attack from a 9 foot bull shark during an operational dive. He ultimately lost a hand and a leg as a result of the attack but managed to escape and swim to safety. This episode features an incredible interview with retired DEA agent Louis “Lou” Diaz. Lou spent 22 of his 28 years in the DEA working undercover. In that time he was largely responsible for the arrest and conviction of Nicky Barnes who was an African-American crime boss that controlled the heroin trade in the 1970’s. Bob played Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House and its Netflix sequel Fuller House, he was the host of America's Funniest Home Videos for 8 seasons, he’s been crushing the standup comedy game for 4 decades and now he’s the host of Nashville Squares on CMT. We fell in love with Bob immediately. He was so friendly and accommodating and you can tell that he knows no stranger, which is such a rare quality for a person as famous as he is. We took full advantage of his generosity and spoke with him for over 50 minutes. We enjoyed every second of it and we think you will too. It dives deep into how he was able to not only get healthy enough to leave in-patient treatment, but how he got healthy enough to resume his standup career and build a special that tells the story of his victory over this horrible disease. We thought last episode was our 100th but turns out we skipped an episode so we're calling this episode 100.5.
