Alec and Paul are back in the studio this week! Let's break it down: the new Yu-Gi-Oh TCG banlist and the community backlash before and after it, plus some big gaming news developments.

Since there's still no Yu-Gi-Oh banlist as of the time of recording, we reflect on this and the other card games that have actually gotten them. Plus some scary takedowns of anime streaming sites and game cancellations.

It's a light week for Yu-Gi-Oh news as we review YCS Sacramento, updates to the Master Duel Shadow Duelist, and the Hello Kitty collab at McDonalds. Meanwhile, the Pokemon World Championship had a couple of controversies, Wizards of the Coast introduces the $50,000 Magic the Gathering Spotlight Seires, and we recap some of the biggest games shown at Gamescom this week.
