Tomorrow at this time we will know the outcome of the Pirates’ first game. Among hitters, Oneil Cruz is the Pirates projected WAR leader, with Paul Skenes being that for the pitchers. Poni went through some of his favorite bets entering baseball season. Poni said Cruz will have a 30-30 season. We made some quick Pirates predictions.
93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff has the Pirates winning 82 games in 2026, their first season above .500 since 2018. A few minutes were spent talking about Kevin Pittsnogle after Poni felt like he could beat the former WVU star in a game of one-on-one. Jeff said Braxton Ashcraft is his Pirates breakout candidate.
