In this special programming we discussing the problem of pets left at the border by migrants coming to the United States. We are talking with border-town police chief, Frederico Garza, of Eagle Pass Texas about the impacts this situation is having on his police force, with Laurie Simmons, CEO of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, a large no-kill shelter that has dedicated resources to help the pets left behind, with Annette Lagunas, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Yuma, Arizona, a border town humane society, and reporter, Anna Giaritelli, Homeland Security Correspondent for the Washington Examiner.
