Show Notes
Today in Episode 102, I share some scientific evidence on psychedelics or hallucinogens in the context of mood disorders and mental health. In the 1960s and 1970s, a psychedelic, LSD, was studied for its ability to improve mood in patients diagnosed with a terminal illness. However, regulatory laws stopped this type of research until recently when it was granted a status of Breakthrough Therapy Designation allowing it to be studied in clinical populations again. Are there benefits in depression and anxiety? Tune in to find out!
