Show Notes
In Part 2 of this episode, we will cover all the high quality evidence on the different protocols of fasting and the evidence to supports its effects on reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, inflammation, and aging. With the nutritional dogma of eating balanced meals every 3-4 hours, we never really turn on our cell recycling process called autophagy. Autophagy is really only accelerated during times of nutrient deprivation and fasting. Autophagy is essential for ridding our body of malfunctioning cells and mutations which is critical in cancer and neurodegenerative disease.
