Show Notes

Today on The People's Scientist podcast, I have the great privilege of interviewing Dr. David Putrino, a neuroscientist based out of Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. Dr. Putrino combines physical therapy, neuroscience, and technology to better people's lives. He goes into detail on some innovative technology he has created to assist individuals in their recovery after injuries or events. During this COVID-19 outbreak, Dr. Putrino decided to use his skills and connections to help the frontline workers. He is an example of what makes NYC resilient. In this episode we speak about his research, what efforts he has contributed to COVID-19, what makes NYC a resilient city, and what other cities can learn from our experience.
