Show Notes
As cold and flu season are upon us, I felt it was timely to do an episode on one of the most popular supplements taken for cold and flu, Echinacea. Echinacea is a flower native to North America and has been touted for its immune boosting properties. Many cell culture, animal, and clinical studies have been conducted to see if Echinacea extracts can induce the immune system and reduce the onset or severity of a cold or flu. So come along this scientific rabbit hole with me and find out whether or not the claims are true.
