Control a Pit-Bull

The plaintiff says she brought her 19-pound dog to the dog park, but the defendant’s large dog rushed at her and pounced on her, causing bruises. The defendant won’t pay the vet bill, so she’s suing. The defendant says her pit bull is a service animal and they were inside the dog park. She says her dog simply sat next to the plaintiff’s dog. The fluid in the plaintiff’s dog’s joints is because she’s 15 and overweight. The plaintiff says the defendant’s son shot out the windows on her truck and he got arrested. His mother refuses to pay for the repairs, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant and her son say he happened to find a BB gun the day after the windows were shot out, and they deny he had anything to do with it. They’re countersuing for harassment and stress.
