The plaintiffs say the defendant ruined four of their flat-screen TVs when he failed to wrap them correctly when he moved them. They’re suing for the value of the TVs. The defendant denies damaging anything, and he’s countersuing for defamation because of all the things they said about him on social media. Then, the plaintiffs say they paid the defendant for their wedding venue, but then everything shut down because of the pandemic. Now the defendant won’t refund their money, so they’re suing. The defendant says she’s happy to reschedule for the plaintiffs. It’s not her fault they didn’t get married, so she doesn’t think she has to pay.
