The Pen Addict

Brad and Myke are joined by Adam Kornfield and Joey Cafone, better known as the team behind Baron Fig. We discuss how they got their start making notebooks, the transition into digital apps, and their latest venture, a pen, appropriately named The Squire.

Brad is back from *American Field* and Myke picks his brain on what it was like for Nock Co. to be there. They also discuss new Nock Co. goods, and a trifecta of paper awesomeness with Midori, Field Notes, and Hobonichi.

The boys are joined by Dan Bishop from Karas Kustoms this week to discuss their latest release, The EDK. Dan also talks about the design process and discusses everything else in the Karas pipeline.

Can Bic save handwriting? That is what they are trying to do with their latest campaign “Fight for your write.” We discuss that, the origins of Bic, interesting Field Notes, and Brad professes his love for a certain pen.

Brad has broken the budget with all of his new pen and paper purchases. They discuss what damage he has done and get into some sweet new Kickstarter launches for the Gist and Pen Type-B.

Brad and Myke put on their super secret spy gear and dig into the good and bad of the latest Kickstarter projects. Apple pens are also in, and Brad breaks out his rant face for the first time in months.

Brad and Myke catch you up on all the pen and ink goings on over the last few weeks, including the quest for the orange Vanishing Point, which has unfortunately been solved. They also discuss how Brad is wrong about Myke's favorite orange ink, lost pens, cursive handwriting, and amazing follow up from the Visionnaire eBayer.

Brad breaks out the feels in this Pen Addict / Analogue crossover event, as your hosts talk about the Lypen and Esterbrook and how to handle these types of public pen issues in a respectful manner. Myke talks about a pen buying rut he is in, and there's been a Bigfoot sighting!

Fun fact: Brad ignores Myke while they record. At least that's what is discovered this week as Brad so excitedly repeats something Myke had told him the week before. After patching things up, the guys also share stationery resolutions for 2015 and dig into how you can work on improving your handwriting.
