She’s known to many for playing the role of Edith Fairchild on the show “General Hospital.” Joan Benedict Steiger has also down some work in theater. She’s received some formal training including the Rome Opera Ballet School, and then studied acting with Stella Adler and Robert Lewis, two of the founders of the famed Actors Studio.
