Paul McCartney is just about to turn 80 years old. But age is just a number, especially when it comes to a rock and roll legend.

We’ve got an interview with a very cool character. This was recorded in the hotel room of Brian Ray. Some of you may remember that he was interviewed by Paul Leslie before.

Brian Ray is an unbelievable musician. He plays lead and rhythm guitar and sometimes the bass for Paul McCartney. His association with Paul McCartney began with a performance with Paul McCartney at the half-time ceremonies at NFL Super Bowl XXXIX in 2002. Brian has been in the band ever since. He appeared on some of the Paul McCartney studio and live albums.

Brian Ray has worked with countless artists including the late folk and songwriting legend Steve Goodman, and many other greats like Etta James, Smokey Robinson, Rita Coolidge and French superstar Johnny Hallyday.

However, what makes Brian Ray so unique is his incredible songs. In 2006, he released his debut album "Mondo Magneto." He followed this with his sophomore release, "This Way Up" in 2010. Brian Ray joined The Paul Leslie Hour to talk all about his illustrious musical career.
