- Jim - Question: Emergency Baptism. I performed one, and I heard Patrick talk about them. My experience was responding to an infant in a hospital in cardiac arrest. I responded as the on-duty chaplain. I asked the mom if she'd like me to Baptize the baby - she said yes. I baptized on the abdomen - did that count?
