Commenting on the recent news that Paul McCartney explained that it was not he but John Lennon who broke up the Beatles, Patrick discusses Lennon‘s tragic killing on December 8, 1980. The “God door” here, he explains, is how Lennon‘s murder brought home to him for the very first time the reality of the gospel message that no matter how rich or famous someone is in this world, none of that goes with him and that everybody will have to eventually give an account of his life and go either to heaven or hell.
