Show Notes

Have you ever heard someone swear in church? What did you do?

Patrick Madrid dives into a heated choir issue! Michelle from Brunswick, Georgia, calls in with a unique problem: her small church choir members are dropping profanities during practice!

Michelle's Dilemma: Michelle, the new choir leader, is horrified to hear profanity in front of the Blessed Sacrament. She’s unsure how to handle it without causing more disruption.

Patrick's Bold Advice: Confront them immediately! Tell them: "Stop using profanity in the Lord's house, or you're out!" No sugarcoating, no hesitation.

Be Firm: Patrick insists on standing firm, even if it bruises some feelings. "You're like the good shepherd. Smack the wolf with your staff!"  Figuratively, of course!

Outcome: Michelle feels empowered to take charge. With Patrick's advice, she’s ready to handle this challenge and maintain the sanctity of their practice space.

Takeaway: "Bad behavior has no place in church, especially profanity." Sometimes, a direct approach is necessary to uphold respect and reverence in sacred spaces.
