Connor - Can I confirm my child in the Eastern Rite then attend a Latin Rite Church? Michael - I feel similarly to the caller about evangelization as a lay person. What do you think about the Catechism saying that lay people should evangelize? Jim - There is a lot of controversy with Pope Francis recently with the blessing of gay couples. I think Pope Francis has some wisdom in what he is doing. Giving them a blessing reminds them that they are in sin, in the same way that we get a blessing when we can't receive communion. Rick - I disagree that Jehovah's Witnesses don't have a lot to say. I feel they have a lot of good and they study the bible. Pat - When you have Mass intentions said for someone who has passed away, how do you know how effective the Masses are? Joseph - I go to daily Mass and see a crossing guard. I met her in a store and found out she was a Lutheran. What can I say to her to help her into the Catholic Faith? Pita - I was not married in the Church, but am Catholic. If I go to confession, can I receive the Eucharist? (34:20) Alison - IVF seems like it is fine since God is making life from it, so shouldn't it be okay? (43:56)

Your relatives and the funeral home will take care of it.They will take you out of the house and deliver you to the funeral home of your family’s choice. They will take off your clothes. They will wash you. They will dress you up.They will even apply makeup to make you look presentable. Many will come to the funeral to honor you. Some will even cancel their plans and ask for a leave to attend your funeral.Your things--things you hate to be borrowed will be sold, donated or burned.Your keys, tools, books, CDs, DVDs, games and clothes will be thrown in the trash. The world won't stop and cry for you.The economy will continue. You will be replaced at work. Someone with the same or even betterqualifications will take your place.People who only knew your face will say ‘rest in peace’Your good friends will cry for a few hours or several days, but then they will laugh again.Your pets will get use to their new owners.Your pictures will be hanging on the wall for a while, and then they will be placed on furniture and finally stored at the bottom of a box.All the things you once had will lose its meaningSomeone else will sit on your couch....You will soon be forgotten by friends, co-workers, neighbors, classmates and even Church folks you saw every week. Your bank account will freeze, and rarely will someone visit your grave stone with flowers But there is good news, there is life after death and you can live forgivenwith a Holy God. In early September, Sue reached out in a state of deep distress, overwhelmed by the challenges in her life. Recognizing her need, Patrick Madrid connected her with a priest who provided much-needed spiritual guidance. During their hour-long conversation, the priest advised Sue to pray the Rosary daily. Committing to this brought about a remarkable transformation. Sue experienced a profound moment of grace and lightness, symbolized by her emotional realization under a bright blue sky. She likened the warmth of the sun to feeling the presence of the Son, possibly indicating the Holy Spirit's influence in her life. This moment marked a significant shift in her perspective and emotional state. Additionally, Sue recounted an impromptu prayer session with a priest after Mass, which brought her closer to the tabernacle and offered her immediate comfort. Through these experiences, Sue expressed immense gratitude for the support and guidance she received, attributing her emotional healing to the combined effect of the priest's advice, the power of the Rosary, and the caring environment fostered by Patrick Madrid and Relevant Radio.
