The health minister Jennifer Carrol MacNeill has issued letters to families whose loved ones underwent hip dysplasia procedures in children health Ireland hospitals since 2010.
It is believed that many thousands of youngsters could have had operations that in retrospect were unnecessary. To get more insight to this Pat spoke to David Cullinane Sinn Fein Health Spokesperson.
