Halloween is still over a week away but fireworks are already going off in neighbourhoods every night Fireworks are illegal in the State and you can face 5 years in prison or a €10,000 fine if found in possession of them to sell or supply.
Henry McKean visited Newry, which being a different jurisdiction, can sell them, and also met with the Dublin Fire Brigade and Department of Justice to get advice.
