VAT rat going from 9% to 13.5% - maintaining the existing 9% VAT rate which is anticipated to change to be increased to 13.5% from 1st September 2023.
But hairdressers and restaurant owners argue that vat should not increase to 13.5%, speaking to Pat with more on this was Lisa Eccles, President of the Irish Hairdressers’ Federation and Paul Treyvaud, Owner of Treyvaud’s Restaurant.
