In late May a director was appointed to oversee the excavation and respectful re-interment of children's remains at the former Tuam mother and baby home site.
The government also appointed a negotiator to deal with religious bodies and to seek from them, a financial contribution to the mother and baby institutions payment scheme.
Speaking to Pat this morning was Daniel Mac Sweeney Director of Authorised Intervention, for the excavation of the graves at Tuam former Mother and Baby Home .
